Services & Prices
Your dog can stay for one night, several nights, or even a month or more if needed. I love all breeds, sizes and personalities. I do need to be able to handle your dog for safety reasons, so please be sure to let me know if your dog may be difficult to handle or may need special care.
I am certified in Dog & Cat First Aid & am able to treat minor injuries. Please advise me of any recent illnesses or injuries when you drop off so I can be sure to monitor them. If your dog has medical issues that require advanced care or is nearing the end of life, I may recommend that they stay with a veterinarian where medical treatment is available during their stay.
Overnight Stay- $55 per night (plus tax)
If you drop off in the morning and pick up the next morning, the charge is for one night. If you drop off in the morning and pick up the next afternoon, you will be charged for 2 nights. There is a $5 charge per day per dog plus tax to administer medicine.
Guests are taken for short walks 2-4 times per day depending upon weather and also spend time in their private, secure, covered outdoor runs when appropriate, to allow safe outdoor time between walks in comfortable weather.
Included in your dog's stay:

An elevated or soft bed will be provided. No need to ruin yours.

The use of water & food bowls. No need to bring them.

Refrigeration/freezing of food/snacks

I will give your dog small amounts of canned food or "pour-overs. " if needed to entice him/her to eat meals if no food allergies.

Chicken & rice meal or pumpkin as needed for stomach upsets.

First Aid treatment if needed for minor health issues or injuries.

Quick ear/eye cleaning if dog shows symptoms of irritation.

Photos are typically posted to Facebook every 3-4 days during your dog's stay so you can see them while you are away.

You may check in by email/FB message every few days to see how your dog is doing if you would rather not have photos posted on FB.
Care for the day- $50 (plus tax)
Need care for your dog for the day with no overnight stay? As long as I have room, you can make an appointment to drop off during morning hours and pick up the same day during afternoon hours. Just like overnight guests, your dog's day will consist of walk time and personal attention. Dogs at TLC DO NOT have physical contact with each other but can play safely while in neighboring rooms with very little risk of injury.

Everyone who stays at TLC receives lots of personal attention to include walking, cuddling, playing, sitting in the grass....whatever your dog wants to do during that time.
Deposits
Due to a number of last-minute cancelations in the latter half of 2023, effective 11/1/23, a deposit of approximately 50% of your estimated total will secure your reservation. If I've given you a deposit amount (some deposits are waived), & you haven't paid the deposit or reached back out to me within 48 hours, I will assume you do not wish to book the reservation. If you decide not to book within 48 hours, you may check back at any time to see if I still have a room available.

Deposits are not refundable but if you have paid a 50% deposit & cancel at least 10 days before your scheduled stay, you may roll some or all of your deposit over into your next stay as long as your next stay takes place within 120 days of your cancelation date, and I have open space during those 120 days. Otherwise, you forfeit the deposit.
While I do not wish to keep deposits, I have limited space so when you reserve a room(s) & no-show or cancel last-minute, I’ve often turned away other clients who have had to go elsewhere and pay a deposit & I am unable to fill the room(s) you've had reserved. With only 20 rooms, a couple of no-shows and last-minute cancelations can be quite a financial hit for a small business. Even if you forfeit your deposit, I still lose 50% of your stay because the room was reserved until your plans changed.

Not all dates require that you book months in advance. Often times, you are able to book dates a week or two in advance. You may check with me at any time to see how much room I have left for your dates if you’d like to wait a little longer to book or are not sure if you'll need the space.
